Why You Need To Drink More Water!

Water is the source of life.

It’s an old saying that’s very important, today and always. Saying that “water is life” shouldn’t be said in vain. All living organisms contain water and not by accident.

Here is why you should drink at least 3 liters of water daily:

We often consume water through the food we eat, so often when we think we are hungry, we are actually just thirsty. Sometimes drinking water can satiate hunger, and by that prevent excessive or binge eating.

As it happens, water boosts your metabolism. The water that gets into your body, is colder than the body itself. That same water needs to warm up, which the body does by itself. While doing that, the body uses a lot of energy and by that boosts your metabolism.

Water also medically benefits your body in many ways. It is essential for our kidneys to purify the blood and throw out the toxins through urine. It’s also needed so your skin can be smooth and fresh. Even your bones need to contain a certain amount of water so they can preserve their flexibility and durability.

Water is essential both for internal and external use (personal hygiene).

Make sure you drink at least 6 glasses of water between meals (and even more during the summer). This will purify the stomach mucus that forms in it overnight. Drink 2 glasses of water before lunch and 2 more before dinner. Out of all drinks, always choose water.

The techniques of hydrotherapy (sauna, various baths etc.) can eliminate or mitigate many injuries and diseases.  Use water as often as possible and do not miss out on a warm bath at night to relax before bedtime.
