Alarm About Hunger – Fed or Hungry?

Alarm about hunger – hormones as reporters

Hormones are carried in the blood to their target organs and cells.

They bind to the cells at a special place, called receptor and transfers the message to the cell on the principle of a key that is appropriate for a particular lock.

How hormones will be finally secreted is determined by very stimulating and inhibiting hormones.

Secretion of hormones lasts until the hormonal signal.

For example, it may be the case when the body needs essential nutrients.

With the help of hormone reporters it’s firstly pointed to the need, followed by proper food intake.

The process ends only when the required nutrients will be transferred to the appropriate place, i.e. cells.

Active all day

In order to realize the principle of “lose weight while you sleep” it is important to know that the hormones requests for secretion are sent from the center for survival throughout the whole day.

The growth hormone is secreted especially at night, so that the processes of recovery needed by the body are activated.

Because only then, with proper diet and movement the breakdown of fat begins, and the realization of the principle “lose weight while you sleep” is possible.

Active all day

Hungry or full – defined by two hormones

These are two opposing hormones which in conditions of hunger and satiety stand at the highest place against each other.

The strongest cause of hunger is the neuropeptide S, which in high concentrations causes unsaturated hunger.

The neuropeptide S is stimulated by a variety of reasons: one of them is when your blood sugar drops suddenly (when you don’t eat anything) and the other reason is a long grueling diet when the stomach uses the transmitter to draw attention to itself.

It should be concluded, unilateral diets that are based solely on reducing the amount of calories, sooner or later lead to hunger pangs because they do not provide the desired success for weight loss.

Insulin: always a trap

However, in the process of losing and gaining weight insulin is the most important factor.

It manages the processing and deposition of fat, and thus has impact on losing and gaining weight.

Perhaps the term insulin is known only as a problem in diabetes.

But the hormone insulin also has great importance for healthy people, because with its help every cell in the body is supplied with the necessary nutrients.

Or, more simply, insulin distributes nutrients from imported food, to the body’s cells, especially the muscles.

And that is done as follows:

Insulin – the key to the cell door

Most body cells (muscle, liver and fat cells) have coverings on their cell membranes called insulin – receptors. These are places in which the insulin can bind because its appearance corresponds to the receptors.

The principle of key – lock

When insulin binds to a receptor a chain of signals is created.

The core cell sends transmitters which through the transmission of shaft in the cell casings carry glucose (sugar), amino acids (proteins) and fatty acids (fats) to the cell where they’re burned to obtain energy or used as building materials.

No more

If you had consumed enough nutrients, the cell is thickening.

Therefore insulin receptors withdraw from the plasma membrane, which is technically called “down” regulation (if due to excessive food intake there is too much sugar in the blood and it becomes insensitive or resistant to insulin).

What happens to the sugar?

But nutrients are still in the blood and insulin stands before the “closed door” of the cell.

What is happening?

Just like crossing a border: a halt in the blood happens.

This delay can last for several hours.

The body responds by increasing the secretion of insulin in order to forcibly inject nutrients in already fulfilled body cells.

The power of insulin

In order to succeed, the pancreas enhances insulin secretion for two, three and even four times.

Experts call this process “hyperinsulinemia”.

This way a small fraction of the nutrients enter cells in the body, but most of them remain, so insulin “stores” them in the adipose tissue.

CONCLUSION: Consume less food in moderation several times during the day (four, five meals), thus accelerating your metabolism and bringing the chances to put on weight to a minimal.

Enjoy your meals.
